Born and raised in San Antonio, Nathaniel went to Ronald Reagan High School where he was a 4 yr letter winner and was 1st team all district Junior and Senior years as an infielder and pitcher respectively. During his time at Reagan he was a part of state and nationally ranked teams while also going to 4 regional finals. After his time at Reagan, Nathaniel signed with Texas A&M Corpus Christi. After the 2006 season he transferred to The University of the Incarnate Word and played under the tutelage of head coach Danny Heep and pitching coach John Maley. In 2008 he was a 2nd team All Conference pitcher and during that season he hurled the only perfect game in school history. Nathaniel has coached select ball for all ages and enjoys passing his knowledge of the game down to the younger generations.
