
Hector was born and raised in San Antonio and has been playing in SA throughout his baseball career. He was a four year letter at John Jay High School and was an all district honor 3 of the 4 years. After his career at Jay High School, Hector signed a letter of intent to the University of the Incarnate Word. Hector started at as a Freshman playing third base under Danny Heep and John Maley. In 2010, he was named to the All-Tournament Team, leading the team and conference with a .400 batting avg. During the same year, Flores and the rest of the cardinals made Incarnate Word history by having the most wins in a season. He was a member of the 2011 Regular Season Conference Champs and made two trips to the NCAA regional tournament. Throughout his career, Flores hit a 350. Career avg. and has been known for a great glove making exciting plays. Hector has been a baseball instructor for the past 3 summers at UIW baseball camps, where he likes to pass his knowledge of the game to kids with energy and excitement.
