I have played softball all of my life, since I was five years old. I have played in USSA traveling teams, such as Albuquerque Sol, Albuquerque Attack, and Albuquerque Envy. I played softball at Rio Grande High School in Albuquerque, NM. I was rewarded many awards with my hard work and dedication. These awards consist of: being nominated captain of the team from 2005-2007 seasons, Pepsi player of the week numerous times, all district player for the years of 2005 and 2007 season, all state player for the year of 2006 season, and all district academic district player for the year of 2004-2007. After high school I was fortunate enough to receive a softball scholarship for the University of the Southwest in Hobbs, NM. Freshman year I was named freshman of the year.  I was awarded a several “Player of the Week” rewards, and captain my senior year. I finished my softball career at the University of the Southwest and am graduating in May, 2013 with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice
